Our Story
Murgir Dim is a Bangladesh-based small business specializing in stationery and accessories, including notebooks, stickers, bandanas, and artbooks. Established in 2024 in Dhaka, the brand primarily targets Gen Z consumers with a focus on minimalist design and expressive visual elements.
History
Murgir Dim was founded in 2024 by Bankiim Khan and Ahmad Hasan with the intention of building a small-scale business centered on custom-designed stickers and notebooks. The initial production included approximately 4,000 stickers and 200 notebooks (100 A5 and 100 A6, 120 GSM paper).
The business made its first sales through a physical stall at a Harry Potter-themed festival organized at BRAC University. This event served as its initial market entry and demand validation, and the initial notebook inventory sold out within approximately two months of launch.
